From regularly working with the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana to assisting the Sojourner Truth House, Indiana University School of Medicine–Northwest-Gary serves their whole community. As part of this year’s Gold Humanism Honor Society, the induction ceremony was held at the Indiana Landmarks Center on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023. The IU School of Medicine chapter inducted 36 students, six residents, and four faculty.
