The Emergency Medicine Clinical Operations and Administration fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine is a two-year program aimed at providing emergency medicine physicians with the skillset and knowledge base necessary to become future hospital and emergency department leaders. The fellowship takes a multi-faceted approach to healthcare administration education, leveraging a partnership with the IU Kelley School of Business physician-focused MBA program to provide a balance of formal didactics with real-world, hands-on training, culminating in the receipt of a nationally recognized MBA degree. Fellows work clinically throughout the fellowship and play an active role in the operational and managerial efforts of their respective clinical sites.
How to Apply
Applications for the Emergency Medicine Clinical Operations and Administration Fellowship program are accepted from July 1st through December 1st. Candidates are accepted on a rolling basis, thus early application is strongly encouraged. Applicants must be on track to complete an ACGME Emergency Medicine residency prior to the start of the fellowship academic year.
