Program Benefits

To complement their exceptional training, residents at Indiana University School of Medicine receive competitive benefits.

In addition, Family Medicine Residency trainees at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital receive:

  • business expense account of $5,000 to cover books, CME, exams, boards, licensing, etc.
  • 21 PTO days
  • five CME days
  • monthly stipend of $50 towards phone or phone plan

  • laptop PC computer for duration of residency

  • $275 meal allowance

  • monogrammed white coat

Incoming residents also receive an $8,500 primary care stipend.
