Todd Skaar, PhD, Professor of Medicine, Pharmacology &Toxicology and Medical and Molecular Genetics, serves as the Director of the Indiana Institute for Personalized Medicine at Indiana University. The recipient of an NIH/NIGMS Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award (MIRA/R35), Dr. Skaar is also the PI of the Pharmacogenomics Implementation Project within the Indiana University Precision Health Initiative Grand Challenge and the Indiana University site of the NIH/NHGRI IGNITE program. His work in identifying and implementing clinically actionable genotypes to guide therapeutic selection and dosing has advanced the delivery of personalized medicine within IU Health as well as Eskenazi Health.
