Interstitial Lung Disease Curriculum

The Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) curriculum is designed to increase exposure in the field of ILD. The track is set up to immerse the fellow in aspects of pulmonary as well as other subspecialty fields that are pivotal in the diagnosis and management of patients with ILD. Included in this track are thoracic radiology, pulmonary pathology, rheumatology and transplant pulmonary services as well as a focused ambulatory curriculum in interstitial lung disease clinics. Along with completing these clinical responsibilities, fellows will be expected to attend and be active participants in the bimonthly Multidisciplinary Discussion (MDD). Fellows will conduct an ILD-focused research project as well as review both classic ILD articles and new literature in the field.
