Guest Medical Students
Medical students enrolled at a medical school in the United States are eligible to apply for guest student elective study at Indiana University School of Medicine. International medical students will be accepted for patient care rotations only if their universities have a preexisting, written agreement with IU School of Medicine. Qualified MD students interested in taking an MD elective at IU School of Medicine as a visiting student can visit the AAMC/VSLO website for details on how to apply. In addition to the VSAS application, guest students must submit the following application materials:

Guest students are eligible to complete one elective rotation at the IU School of Medicine. Rotation applications are accepted through VSLO (formerly VSAS).
