The Department of Mental Health Services (DMHS) offers both in-person and tele-health visits. DMHS clinicians currently maintain hybrid (in-person and remote work) schedules. In-person visits are available on days clinicians are in the office, and tele-health appointments are available daily during typical business hours. Tele-health visits are conducted through our portal, with zoom links available within the portal. You may schedule visits through the portal, or call our front desk at 317-278-2383.

Patients must be located in Indiana for all therapy and medication management appointments.

  • If you live out-of-state and commute to campus, please be aware of this requirement and ensure you are within state lines during your tele-health appointment.
  • If you live in-state, but will be traveling out-of-state for rotations, conferences or other school-related training, you will need to reschedule your appointment for after your return. There may be a few exceptions to this requirement depending on the provider and your location. Please talk with your provider to learn more.

If you have concerns about how to meet these in-state requirements, please discuss your concerns with your provider or the front desk prior to your appointment.

Calls may go to a voicemail box, which will be checked regularly throughout the business day. We will reply to emails and calls within one business day. If you wish to inquire anonymously about available services, please call 317-278-2383 and leave a confidential voicemail with your phone number and identifying yourself as a medical trainee.
