Stroke

The Pediatric Stroke program in the Department of Neurology at Indiana University School of Medicine treat patients with pre, perinatal, and childhood stroke and cerebral sinovenous thrombosis, working in collaboration with hematology and neurosurgery. Patients are evaluated for stroke etiology, and counseled on treatment, prognosis, long-term needs, and prevention of recurrent stroke. It is the only pediatric stroke clinic, housed at Riley Hospital for Children, in the state of Indiana.
