The Child Neurology Residency at Indiana University School of Medicine is a five-year program that begins with two years of training in pediatrics. Three years of subspecialty training in pediatric neurology follow. Six months of elective time are available during your pediatric neurology training, three months of which are pediatric.
Year One
Similar to the general neurology residency program, the first year of the Child Neurology Residency emphasizes patient evaluation and management at the teaching hospitals in Indianapolis that are affiliated with the IU School of Medicine. This patient care experience enables residents to develop clinical competence in general neurology.
