The Indiana University School of Medicine vitreoretinal surgery fellowship is a two-year clinical fellowship. Fellows learn through clinical practice at nationally ranked teaching hospitals that record several million inpatient and outpatient visits each year.

During their years of study at Indiana University School of Medicine, fellows learn through clinical practice at several nationally ranked teaching hospitals that provide training in a diversity of settings. This includes the county hospital, a nationally ranked children’s hospital, and the department's flagship Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute.
