About the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Research Center

For nearly 30 years, the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (IADRC) at Indiana University School of Medicine has stood at the forefront of advancement in Alzheimer's disease research. The mission of the IADRC is to support local, regional, national and international research efforts in service of the U.S. National Plan for Alzheimer’s’ Disease (NAPA) to prevent and effectively treat ADRD by 2025 through innovative research on pathogenesis, early detection, biomarkers and therapeutics. Investigators and community members alike have positioned the center as a leading resource in Indiana for Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias. As one of only 33 NIA-designated Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers in the United States, the Center positions itself as a pioneer in innovative research.
