Funding Opportunities

The mission of the Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (IADRC) is to support local, regional, national and international research efforts in service of the U.S. National Plan for Alzheimer’s’ Disease (NAPA) to prevent and effectively treat Alzheimer's disease related dementias by 2025 through innovative research on pathogenesis, early detection, biomarkers and therapeutics. To help achieve this mission, the IADRC creates and advocates for funding opportunities that can encourage continued research in Alzheimer's and other related dementias. 

Development Project Program

This funding mechanism is intended to support investigators in developing preliminary data sufficient to provide a basis for an application for independent research support.

REC Scholar Program

This scholar program is primarily designed for early-stage investigators planning to pursue competitive, extramurally funded research on Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
